It seems that everyday we are looking for something don’t you think? I sure do. If it is not the car keys then it’s our wallet or a purse etc… Yes we live in a fast paced life indeed and looking for something is just too time consuming. I especially do not enjoy it.

They keep in touch by sending emails and having a facebook or myspace account so they can share pictures of friends and the kids growing up like weeds in a fertile ground. It is common practice these days.
But one day if the emails would stop, the facebook or myspace account were desactivated, you would wonder what happened to your best friend wouldn’t you? We are so used to communicate over the Internet that we would be a bit baffled if this kind of situation would arise.
So Allison was really wondering what happened to Clara and drove to her best friend’s house to find out. House was empty…
Five weeks had passed since that day. Allison never got an answer about what happened to her best friend. She kept hoping to get a call or something.

But now thanks to the Internet you can do people searches, street address searches, reverse phone searches and all kind of neat things. Allison did not know that so she kept hoping for a phonecall in the back of her mind… Untill she discovered a way to actively find people instead of desperatly waiting and hoping for some news.

That was 400 miles from where she lives. So, Allison packed her travel bag and drove away in her trusty Toyota. It was a beautiful day. It was time to do this and she felt great about deciding to pay her good friend a visit and certainly surprise her in the process, but mostly to warn her about what she found out about the new found boyfriend.
Allison was eager to go to the bottom of this and elude that mystery.
Was Clara ok? She kept asking herself while driving down the highway.
Why did she leave all of a sudden and without even saying goodbye?
You see, few years ago the mystery would still be a mystery. Now with the power of the Internet and the software that drives a huge database, people like me and you are like super Sherlock Holmes without the smelly pipe of course.
Saying that Clara was surprised by her visit would be an understatement…
She was ecstatic. The boyfriend was not.
She finally figured out why she went away. Her new boyfriend was a mean control freak and had to run away from few shaddy characters for some foggy reasons…go figure. He would not say of course.
But Allison’s visit changed everything. The boyfriend was surprised that they could be found that easily, that got him thinking and went into the other room to make a phonecall. While he was busy figuring a way to get on the move again, Clara found out about the criminal charges report that Allison had in her purse.

That gave Clara the boost she needed. She got her spirit and energy back up and decided to come back with her trustworthy friend. She could not believe it when she saw the lenghty criminal record the boyfriend was hiding from her… That was the last straw… She packed her things in a jiffy, decided to get her life back.
Both drove back and Allison offered Clara to move in with her while she will be busy putting her life back together.
